| "Come to Me" words of Jesus When Jesus said these words He knew the condition of those to whom He was speaking. They were worn out, burdened down with the heavy loads that the religious leaders of that day had put upon them. Jesus came to lighten our loads and not to make them heavier. He came to give us life and to pour out The Holy Spirit in our hearts and minds, so that keeping His Fathers Commandments would not be burdensome, but when yoked with Him the Commandments would be a delight to keep. Christians need the Holy Spirit Perhaps you have never experienced the Presence of the Holy Spirit bringing the Life that Jesus told us would come. The Life changing Power of the Holy Spirit writing God's laws upon your heart. Seek God for His truth in the Bible, and His Holy Spirit to bring the Words of the Bible alive in you and as Jesus said to the people of His day, I will give you rest." God bless you |
